Dear Ones,
I am using a 16th century French marine expression this week. “Nager entre deux eaux.”
It refers to a ship that is navigating between two currents, tossed around that it is by (possibly) strong waves.
Further down, if we stretch the metaphor a little bit, it may refer to a person unable to make a decision. Sitting on the fence if you will, yet in the water!
The image I am willing to convey here is more of an in-between phase—not even sure between what and what, and not necessarily tossed around. A phase, or a time period, when things are not moving.
And yet there may be progress, undiscernible progress…somewhere under the water!
Let’s take a dive this Thursday, dear Ones, along with a bit of navigation!
