Departing from the path

What is the path, our path, dear Ones?

And is there such a thing as a path?

I was watching Alice in Wonderland yesterday. A movie that talks about the path.

At some point, Bayard the basset hound is trying to prevent Alice from straying.

He says to her, “Departing from the path, you cannot do that.”

To which she responds, “I make the path!”

Later on, as Alice needs to come to terms with her unique mission of fighting Jabberwocky the dragon, the white queen tells her,

“You can’t live your life to please others. The choice must be yours.”

Such a strong, meaningful statement!

So, is there a path, a clearly delineated one?

Rumi’s words came back to me this morning.

“As we start to walk on the way, the way appears.”

About new desert

Nurturing the Gift of Seeking is about a spiritual "destination," a journey within, a new beginning, that eventually takes us where we are meant to arrive. Some call it Home, yet I am not sure what Home means, and where it is. Enjoy the journey, dear Ones! On this journey, what matters, first and foremost, is our seeking spirit. And the seed of perseverance--or faith, if you will. Happy journey, dear fellow Sisters and Brothers!

Very interesting synchronicity as I looked at your Cheshire President — claytoonz

I watched Alice in Wonderland yesterday and I liked its symbology.

The cartoon you posted tastes a little different…

It’s a good question to ask at this juncture, isn’t it?

Perhaps there is a path after all, one we cannot see or even sense.

Yet we have no choice but to “walk the Way.”

Thanks for your comment and stay safe as well!

it’s a chance to find ourselves again, other than as mere consumers, stay safe, amen

        Yes, it is.

Not everyone in this world is born to consume unconsciously. We must be two of those sane ones.

Incidentally, two weeks ago, I presented about the ‘temptation to consume’ and consequenyly consequently build one’s identity ‘in the wrong place.’

That must be another synchronicity, in addition to Alice.

        Be well.
