Purification and purity

Dear Ones,

“Being grateful” is one of the many flowers that bloom out of a heart that is being cultivated, that is being tended to. We can all attest to that when we turn our heart toward the sun of our lives; so as to receive nourishment.

In our “being grateful” communion last week, one participant mentioned “purity” as the theme of her upcoming paintings exhibit. What a pristine, beautiful theme, which got me reflecting.

How do we purify our lives?

How do we shovel in front of our ‘door’ so that the path clears up?

How do we clear the space between the Divine and ourselves so that it becomes pure enough for us to make a connection?

A connection to our divine path, to our divine mission.

And how do we till our inner ground so that many more flowers can take root?

These are important questions in our days and age, aren’t they?

About new desert

Nurturing the Gift of Seeking is about a spiritual "destination," a journey within, a new beginning, that eventually takes us where we are meant to arrive. Some call it Home, yet I am not sure what Home means, and where it is. Enjoy the journey, dear Ones! On this journey, what matters, first and foremost, is our seeking spirit. And the seed of perseverance--or faith, if you will. Happy journey, dear fellow Sisters and Brothers!
