Gilles,
I enjoyed your first episode! I found the final segment especially poignant. My fiance is trying to develop a morning routine and stop being such a night owl. He’s been going to the gym in the mornings and we decided to go to breakfast once a week at one of our favorite restaurants before work. We’ve really been looking forward to this and today was our first breakfast, but before we even started, we got in a fight about where to sit that ruined the entire outing. Instead of a happy, joyful breakfast, we spent the morning bickering, judging each other and at odds. At one point during the uncomfortable silence he mused “why do we sabotage our relationship?”.
This event has been on my mind all day and when you spoke about tightly closing doors we are trying to open, it really resonated with me.
I look forward to hearing about your journey and your spelunking experiences!
Peace and blessings,
Yarrow
Good morning dear Yarrow. Thanks for sharing your thoughts after an “interesting” morning. You made me think about a very “quiet dinner” I had years ago with my fiancee in a small place at high altitude. It resembled what you described of your breakfast. Ego clashes are rarely productive, and the beauty of spiritual evolution is that we learn to manage and control them, after a few years of married life. That’s how long it took me and I am still working on it! Love & Light, my dear, and many blessings on your path.
