Orchestrating while letting go

Dear Ones,

Somehow, the word “orchestrate” caught my attention in the long passage below.

How much do we need to “orchestrate” (read, organize and possibly compartmentalize and control) our lives?

And how much do we need to let go?

And how do we let the Universe play Its own symphony?

Just like in every situation, there may be a need to find a delicate balance between the “orchestration” and the “devotion” – the devotion to living a meaningful and fulfilled life.

As to orchestrating someone else’s life, it is a whole different chapter, isn’t it?

“It is the perfect time for you to take some of that transformation. It is available to you at all times, and all you need to do is let go of control over your lives. Let go of the need that you can have at times to orchestrate everything and to make everything the way you think it should be. And, in that letting go, you will let in more of your personal transformation, and then you will see more of the world outside of you transforming to meet you where you now are.

That means letting everyone else be exactly where they are and accepting that everyone is exactly where they need to be on their journey at this time. You don’t need to orchestrate anyone else’s journey, and you can let everyone be in what you might consider a self-created delusion. That’s okay, because they are still in some way benefitting from being right where they are, and this is how you let go of the divisiveness, and you move past this idea of separation that you have going there on Earth at this time.

You can transcend the us-versus-them mentality in your own mind, and you can allow everyone to be where they are and everything to be as it is, so that you can transform yourself into the master who is capable of helping those who are ready to be helped. There will always be those who are your perfect students, those who are ready for exactly what you have to teach them, and they can show up at your doorstep when you let go of any ideas you have of where you should be as a master, as a teacher, and as a leader in the evolution of consciousness.

Let things unfold, and be patient. Take your time and trust that everything is in perfect order as it is on Earth and throughout the entire galaxy and universe. Be at one with the moment you are in, and feel yourself transforming in that moment. You are ready, and now is the time. There has never been a better time to transform while living on planet Earth. And you always knew that you would be awake for this process. You always knew that you would be one of the ones on the leading edge to assist the rest of humankind in making this enormous leap forward in your spiritual evolution.”

Why we are awake

Dear Ones,

These three paragraphs, from the same post, explain a bit of what we, as inhabitants of planet Earth, are going through, don’t they?

And it sounds like a beautiful process!

Almost everyone is experiencing a sense of weariness and some physical issues at this time because the high resonating energies now flowing to earth, as the ascension process proceeds, are not just clearing old energies but at the same time are integrating it into the cells of physical bodies. The human mind often interprets this process as something being “wrong” because it is unfamiliar with what is taking place.

… Right now you are seeing a great deal of conflict in the world as old energies that have lain dormant for eons begin to surface. Energies of duality, separation, and two powers have no Divine Law to support or maintain them but will continue to manifest as long as the world’s collective consciousness empowers and feeds them with energy. This is why you who are awake are on earth at this time, to seed and open a sleeping collective simply through the presence of your Light.

Allow the process without giving power to appearances. Do not believe that you are doing something wrong if life becomes chaotic, discordant, or that which is comfortable and familiar disappears. Know that you are doing something right–clearing that which is false, obsolete, and no longer relevant to spiritual evolution through your conscious realization of God as being the only power and not the many things being presented to you at this time as being power.

The Power of Myth

Dear Ones,

The reason I am mentioning myth this evening is because of an uncanny synchronicity around myth and the main name associated with myth, that of mythologist Joseph Campbell.

A friend asked me a few questions about the Cathars—as it looks like they came to visit her. In going back to a post I wrote 10 years and 11 days ago, I realized it connected with the notion of myth and Joseph Campbell’s concept of “The Hero’s Journey.”

There is a morsel in that journey that always puzzled me: that of the phase of atonement (or at-one-ment, or even a-lign-ment), right before one reemerges into the conscious world and brings about the Gift of the Goddess. As one reenters the domain of the tangible, he or she indeed brings out a boon, a blessing, that may serve in the accomplishment of his/her mission.

I’ve let that search for meaning dwindle, so to speak, and tucked it away for a few good years. It may come back to the fore for a reason, guided by some invisible force and the sheer movement of the planets, as we enter another Full Moon.

Which leads me to ask, “What is your boon, dear Ones?”

FULL MOON: The current lunar cycle reaches its climax this Thursday, May 23, at 6:53 a.m. PDT. At that time, the Moon will be at 02°55´ Sagittarius, exactly opposite the Sun at the same degree of Gemini.

A Full Moon always asks us to find a balance between the qualities of the two signs involved. In this instance, we are called to access the best traits of both mental, airy Gemini and intuitive, fiery Sagittarius — to be both logical and wise and to rely equally on reason and on faith. We are directed to seek meaningful experiences through intellectual learning and the exchange of information, but also to explore the world beyond our local environs, both physically and philosophically.

Although Venus and Jupiter are still in Taurus at the time of the Full Moon, they are separated from the Sun by less than four degrees, so their energies are strongly woven into the fabric of the lunation. With the Moon opposing Venus/Jupiter, the qualities of optimism, inspiration and creativity are enhanced, but we must also be wary of over-indulging, or of needing the immediate gratification of whatever our current desires might be.

Taking those cautions into account, the potential benefits of this week’s Full Moon are many. The Moon is trine Neptune, providing opportunities for significant spiritual growth and a deeper understanding of our life’s meaning. Luna is also sextile Pluto, helping us feel empowered and passionate about whatever adventure or cause we choose to engage.

Generating appreciation (regardless of the weather)

Dear Ones,

I was thinking lately of these moments, little or not so little, when we experience hiccups or bumps on the road; things like being exploited, one way or another, perhaps by a large corporation, or a gigantic institution. Or even by a single person.

Instances when it is not worth to “fight the system.”

As the expression says, we need to gather our wisdom and “pick our battles,” knowing some of them are not worth our energy and dedication.

In these moments, how do we keep generating appreciation, for life, and for the good fortune we have of being a high witness to the evolution of our planet?

Let’s practice appreciation! Let’s keep our hearts bright and open.

I am reminded of a prayer we recited some ten years ago at the beginning of each and every day of a retreat.

May I see this day through Buddha eyes
May I hear this day through Buddha ears
May I love this day with a Buddha heart
May all I come in contact be awakened to their True Nature

Moments of unity and celebration

Dear Ones,

How interesting is this comment from a New York Times journalist below!

“For a nation pulled apart by every manner of division, the eclipse offered a moment of unity, however brief.”

Who would think that Mother Nature and Father Sky could bring, even a continent, together?

Perhaps it is a lesson to be learned and an attitude to be nurtured, in the absence of …. prophetic repentance!

If last week’s communion was marked by an incredible number of 4s, we are gathering tomorrow on Eid al-Fitr, which marks the closure of the month of Ramadan—another moment of unity and celebration for the Muslim world!

Is our world on the cusp of major transformation?

A transformation that will primarily affect our consciousness.

Eid al-Fitr (lit. ’Holiday of Breaking the Fast) is the earlier of the two official holidays celebrated within Islam (the other being Eid al-Adha). Eid al-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. Eid al-Fitr falls on the first day of Shawwal in the Islamic calendar; this does not always fall on the same Gregorian day, as the start of any lunar Hijri month varies based on when the new moon is sighted by local religious authorities. The holiday is known under various other names in different languages and countries around the world. The day is also called “Lesser Eid, or simply Eid.

Awe-some

By Elizabeth Dias

As the moon crossed over the sun yesterday, millions of people from Mazatlán to Maine stopped to gaze upward in a profound experience of awe. The solar eclipse tapped into a primal emotion. It evoked for many a mystical moment, as awareness of the celestial encompassed the earth. It revealed the close dance between spirituality and science.

For a nation pulled apart by every manner of division, the eclipse also offered a moment of unity, however brief. It was a reminder to everyone, on the same day and at the same time, that life can be magical. That being alive is a collective experience. That there is something astonishing about being part of the greater story of things.

That’s the subject of today’s newsletter. Below are photos and scenes from Times journalists across the country who witnessed this moment of awe and togetherness.

Eagle Pass, Texas: After the eclipse passed, Mireya Muñoz, 42, put her hands together and silently prayed. The return of the sun’s rays made her feel elated. “I wanted to thank God because we are alive and allowed us to see it,” she said. “I hope to be alive to see the next one, too.”

Russellville, Ark.: Around 100 couples gathered to be married under the eclipse. They exchanged celestial vows: “I promise to cherish you like this rarest of events, treasuring each moment as if it were a fleeting or shooting star. The galaxies of our dreams, hand in hand, heart to heart, until the end of time. For in my world, you are my sun, my moon and all my stars.”

Carbondale, Ill.: The crowd at Saluki Stadium yelped and whistled and stamped the bleachers as the sky went dark and the sun’s corona beamed. People pointed to Venus and Jupiter, visible on either side of the eclipsed sun. The screams grew louder as the sun conquered the lunar surface and brightened the sky again.

Niagara Falls, N.Y.: Darkness set in above heavy cloud cover. But for a few wonderful moments, the fully occluded sun poked through. The crowd went wild. “It’s incredible,” said Martine Raussin, from Saint-Georges-sur-Cher, in central France. Hugs and cheers also abounded on the Canadian side of the falls, though the American side was considerably louder.

Manhattan: The crowd at Sheep Meadow in Central Park whistled and screamed as the moon covered nearly 90 percent of the sun. Drummers played their instruments. Some people stood in awe in the bike and running paths, angering some cyclists and runners who felt no reason to change their exercise routines.

Houlton, Maine: As the moon and the sun inched into perfect alignment in cloudless skies, turning day to night, the crowd quieted. Couples embraced. Small flocks of birds darted over the town square, and orange light glowed on the horizon. Time seemed to stop for three minutes. And then, too soon, sunlight flared. “I would pay a million dollars to see that again,” Sebastian Pelletier, 11, said.

The story of Jonah and Nineveh

Dear Ones,

You may realize by now that the upcoming “Great American Eclipse” is associated with the biblical story of Jonah and the city of Nineveh.

The theme of that story borders on repentance, whatever it may mean in modern times.

Below is an excerpt from lecturer William Henry, as well an account of the story from Encyclopedia Britannica.

If that is not enough, here is a link to the meditation you can do this coming Monday at 6:18 PM UTC—2:18 PM New York time.

This promises to be a most astounding time, doesn’t it?

If that is an indication of some mystery, the EST time of our gathering tomorrow is composed of five 4.

Dear Starwalkers,

The Great American Eclipse of 2024 is coming on April 8! What will it bring? It will be exciting to see. Strange things are possible. Personally, I’m watching the prophetic types who are proclaiming this eclipse as a Sign, even of Christ. This is mainly based on the fact that it crisscrosses the path of the 2017 eclipse and because the path of totality of the 2024 eclipse moves through Jonah, Texas and at least two towns called Nineveh (a biblical place name associated with repentance). Don’t forget the so-called Devil’s Comet also reappears on April 8. Since the 1300s this comet has periodically put on a light show in our skies and is putting an exclamation point on Monday’s event.

Peace + Love.

US Total Solar Eclipse Meditation, April 8th 2024 at 18:18 UTC

Synopsis

According to the biblical account, God orders Jonah to warn the citizens of Nineveh, a principal Assyrian city, to repent of their wickedness, but Jonah refuses to believe that these hated people deserve salvation. Rather than traveling east to the landlocked city of Nineveh, he instead runs west to the port of Joppa and boards a ship headed for Tarshish across the Mediterranean Sea. A storm threatens the ship and the sailors draw lots to find out which man is the cause of their misfortune. The lot falls to Jonah, who tells the sailors that the storm is his fault and instructs them to throw him overboard. Once Jonah is thrown into the sea, the storm subsides and the sailors worship the Hebrew God.

Jonah mosaic

Mosaic of the biblical story of Jonah; in the cathedral in Aquileia, Italy.

Alone in the sea, Jonah is swallowed by a huge fish and spends three days and nights in its belly, where he prays for deliverance. God commands the fish to spit the man out on land, and finally Jonah heads to Nineveh to comply with God’s original instructions to him. Upon hearing the prophet’s warning, the king and the people of Nineveh repent, and God does not punish them.

The Prophet Jonah Before the Walls of Nineveh

The Prophet Jonah Before the Walls of Nineveh, by Rembrandt, reed pen in bistre with wash, c. 1654–55; in the Albertina, Vienna. 21.7 × 17.3 cm.(more)

Jonah is angry with God for the mercy shown to the Ninevites and flees the city to see if God will perhaps still destroy it. Outside of the city, the prophet builds a crude shelter for himself and God sends a plant to shade the prophet from the sun. Jonah is pleased with his shady hovel, but then God sends a worm to eat the plant, and it dies. Exposed to the heat and the wind, Jonah is angered by the loss of his plant. God chastises him for being concerned about a wild plant but not about the many thousands of citizens in the great city.

Following our inner light

Dear Ones,

Thanks to our school district’s superintendent, I came across a meaningful quote from a Prussian general who was unknown to me. Carl Von Clausewitz is his name.

His words are about the light—the inner light, that is—and are quite profound. One may think it unusual for someone involved in wars and protection of his country to be sensitive to inner workings; yet perhaps we could use Mr. von Clausewitz’s wisdom to solve some of our 21st century conflict, while paying attention to the light that shines from within and to the lava-like wisdom that silently erupts, like a tender volcano. Pushing out the Truth from the center of the earth for everyone to be immersed in It.

How uncanny that Carl didn’t die fighting on the front, but from a silent enemy he was attempting to contain: cholera.

Here are his words:

“If the mind is to emerge unscathed from the relentless struggle with the unforeseen, two qualities are indispensable: first an intellect that, even in the darkest hour, retains some glimmerings of the inner light which leads to the truth; and second, the courage to follow this light wherever it may lead.”

From Wikipedia

Carl Philipp Gottfried von Clausewitz, 1 July 1780 – 16 November 1831) was a Prussian general and military theorist who stressed the “moral” (in modern terms meaning psychological) and political aspects of waging war. His most notable work, Vom Kriege (“On War“), though unfinished at his death, is considered a seminal treatise on military strategy and science.

Clausewitz was a realist in many different senses, including realpolitik, and while in some respects a romantic, he also drew heavily on the rationalist ideas of the European Enlightenment.

Clausewitz stressed the dialectical interaction of diverse factors, noting how unexpected developments unfolding under the “fog of war” (i.e., in the face of incomplete, dubious, and often erroneous information and great fear, doubt, and excitement) call for rapid decisions by alert commanders. He saw history as a vital check on erudite abstractions that did not accord with experience. In contrast to the early work of Antoine-Henri Jomini, he argued that war could not be quantified or reduced to mapwork, geometry, and graphs. Clausewitz had many aphorisms, of which the most famous is “War is the continuation of policy with other means.”

… In 1815 the Russian-German Legion became integrated into the Prussian Army and Clausewitz re-entered Prussian service as a colonel.[10] He was soon appointed chief-of-staff of Johann von Thielmann‘s III Corps. In that capacity he served at the Battle of Ligny and the Battle of Wavre during the Waterloo campaign in 1815. An army led personally by Napoleon defeated the Prussians at Ligny (south of Mont-Saint-Jean and the village of Waterloo) on 16 June 1815, but they withdrew in good order. Napoleon’s failure to destroy the Prussian forces led to his defeat a few days later at the Battle of Waterloo (18 June 1815) when the Prussian forces arrived on his right flank late in the afternoon to support the Anglo-Dutch-Belgian forces pressing his front. Napoleon had convinced his troops that the field grey uniforms were those of Marshal Grouchy’s grenadiers. Clausewitz’s unit fought heavily outnumbered at Wavre (18–19 June 1815), preventing large reinforcements from reaching Napoleon at Waterloo. After the war, Clausewitz served as the director of the Kriegsakademie, where he served until 1830. In that year he returned to active duty with the army. Soon afterward, the outbreak of several revolutions around Europe and a crisis in Poland appeared to presage another major European war. Clausewitz was appointed chief of staff of the only army Prussia was able to mobilize in this emergency, which was sent to the Polish border. Its commander, Gneisenau, died of cholera (August 1831), and Clausewitz took command of the Prussian army’s efforts to construct a cordon sanitaire to contain the great cholera outbreak (the first time cholera had appeared in modern heartland Europe, causing a continent-wide panic). Clausewitz himself died of the same disease shortly afterwards, on 16 November 1831.

Clearing up our minds

Dear Ones,

A friend sent me this video today—she said she thought about me when she watched it.

This Ho’o pono pono technique is not new to me, yet I never put it to the test.

This is an interview of the person who discovered the technique (Morrnah Simeona) and the professional who promoted it, Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len. It is 28-minute long, yet it may give you an idea of how inner healing works, and how it can help clearing our minds of any encumbrances.

It was filmed in Alaska in …. 1986!

Earlier this year (2022) a great healing soul transitioned over to spirit – and while Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len may no longer physically be with us, he leaves our world a great healing legacy. When I encountered his healing methods, including the powerful 10-word mantra and philosophy transmitted to him by healer Morrnah Simeona, I found my world transformed – both in my health and relationships, and also in my professional life – as an acupuncturist.

I found healing outcomes improved significantly, and a sense of peace pervaded my every interaction. It’s all subjective of course – but this was my experience. Because of this, I recommend people learn about Morrnah and Dr. Hew Len’s ‘Self Identity Through Ho’oponopono healing method, and I also recommend Joe Vitale’s book ‘Zero Limits’ as an easy way to get to grips with these concepts. Quick searches on Google and YouTube will reveal numerous sources of information about Dr. Hew Len, Ho’oponopono and the wonderful methods therein.

Another week suspended in stillness, really?

Dear Ones,

Unexpectedly, a recording that I made five years ago for one of our communions recently popped up as a Facebook memory. A sweet one.

The theme of that communion was, “A week suspended in stillness.”

Amazingly, the conditions we are facing now, five years later, are fairly similar.

We are approaching another New Moon, which will occur on February 9th at 5:59 pm EST / New York, and marks the beginning of a new lunar year.

In 2019, the New Moon occurred on February 4th at 4:03 pm EST. Hence the stillness that we experienced preceding that date. Please see the January 31, 2019, invite below.

We seem to be once again in the canal leading to a new birth—the birth of a powerful New Age.

And yet that stillness that some of us might be feeling or experiencing feels utterly different from that of 2019, doesn’t it?

What will the year of the Dragon bring, but fire?

And possibly destruction by fire?

It feels, truly, like the beginning of the end. The end of how we knew and lived life.

Would you agree?

Here is the announcement about the Year of the Dragon by Raquel Spring, the astrologer I quoted at the end of my January 31, 2019, invitation.

“The Year of the Dragon 2024 finally reveals the dawn of a new power, and a significant pathway for new energies to come in!

Do you feel it? A new force is here. This is truly a time to step forward with Dragon energies into new light, and a new life.

I am excited to invite you to this Saturday’s workshop where we will explore the pivotal month of February. Some themes for this workshop are:

1. The Power of The Dragon in 2024:

Pluto in Aquarius and the North Node in Aries have made the clarion call for new leaders to rise. Now, the Year of The Dragon opens the door to a new human embodiment, a radical DNA shift and announces the time to step into sovereignty and freedom!

2. Aquarius Season: Revolution is here!

In February, the Aquarius momentum really picks up as Mercury, Venus and Mars join the Sun and Pluto in this emerging power.

3. New Moon in Aquarius square Uranus: Radical steps and new paths

February’s New Moon emphasizes the Aquarian revolution through a square to its ruler, Uranus. This adds to the superpowers of Sun, Pluto, Mercury, Venus and Mars, who are all in Aquarius, and initiates a radical paradigm shift for 2024.

4. Saturn covers new degrees and begins new themes in Pisces

Last year, Saturn reached its maximum distance of 7° Pisces. In February, Saturn finally catches up and moves into new ground, new territory for your Pisces house.

Invitation for our January 31, 2019 communion

A week suspended in stillness?

Or

‘A week in suspended stillness,’ as Raquel put it in her astrology newsletter.

Dear Ones,

Isn’t it beautiful when you start reading an article and realize it describes to the ‘t’ how you’ve been feeling or sensing about the time period?

That’s exactly what happened to me this morning. Yet Raquel is talking about the upcoming week and I have had that feeling for the past five or six days.

A feeling that things have come to a halt; that not much is moving, for whatever reason. Because of the closing of a lunar cycle, as Raquel suggests, a waning gibbous moon, or some other inconspicuous reason.

And a feeling that there isn’t much we need to do. It isn’t that we are stuck; I would rather feel that we are in transition, to a different kind of energy, perhaps. A feeling that ’things’ will open up once the new lunar year is upon us.

So enjoy what is there to enjoy, grab a good book you wanted to (re)read for some time, and ponder what comes your way—however trickle-like flowing that may be. The times may become more ‘agitated’ once things start rolling up the hill!

Here is what Raquel wrote as an intro to her ‘week in suspended stillness’ newsletter.

Not only are we closing a lunar cycle, in preparation for a new one to come (Aquarius New Moon on February 4th), but we are also closing a bigger cycle, in preparation for the Chinese New Year, and this is always a significant time of the year, period.

Are we experiencing an hyperdrive acceleration?

Isn’t it nice, dear Ones, when someone puts into words what you’ve been feeling for a while?

It’s exactly what happened this afternoon, Wednesday, with this ‘hyperdrive acceleration’ thing I am talking about.

As part of a small group discussion, I was talking about the importance of removing our “spiritual gunk.” Assuredly the gunk we can barely see.

One gentle-man responded,

“Yes. With the 2024 hyperdrive acceleration already underway, our choice is to remove the gunk, or have the gunk removed. I understand the former leads to greater integration, whereas the latter leads to disintegration.”

When I asked him about the origin of that expression, here is what he offered.

“The term is coming up for me again in the context of astronomy, however it has been an established term regarding this time in many areas of commentary. I believe it will only get faster for some time now.”

And then he shared a quote from the Hathors.

“As a carbon based being, your body is made of stardust. And your nature is very much like coal. Like coal, if you experience enough pressure, you will either be pulverized or become a diamond. This sound meditation will strengthen you so that you can bear the cosmic force that is squeezing you from all sides. Thus, you may, with enough clarity of intent and persistence, become a multifaceted cosmic diamond. That is your destiny—but only if you choose it.”

2024 has been a bit surreal, to say the least. I can feel the thrust, the pressure moving us upward and the ‘little chaos’ that sometimes ensues.

It is not monstrous chaos, just things that often throw us off balance; a meeting being rescheduled, another being canceled, people not responding to messages or being critical; and plenty of misunderstandings.

At the same time that this ‘little chaos’ is going on, there is an upsurge of love. But perhaps not every day. I could feel it in a school (with young children) where I was teaching during the first two days of the year. Children hugging me out of the blue, after a simple exchange of a smile.

And then this last Monday in a class of 1st graders. An outpouring of sweet messages, drawings and hugs from at least six or seven children; something that started mid-day and that continued unabated until dismissal.

Of course what I didn’t tell you is that I skipped the 45-minute math class and let them play games instead. That teaching ‘generosity’ is worth at least a couple hugs, no!
